WHAT IS VIII SPORTS?
Viii Sports (pronounced “Vy” Sports) is an exciting challenge involving a race to execute a series of key skills across eight sports (2023 sports: golf, softball, tennis, basketball, football, soccer, strength and speed). All sports (except speed) have 3 balls in a defined area, and a target some distance away. Successfully getting a ball in the target gives the competitor 1, 2, or 3 points – depending on the distance and difficulty. There are 50 points possible, six for each of the eight sports, plus two bonus points for speed. Each competitor will showcase their prowess in a challenging series of 8 different sports, all completed in under 3 minutes!
